About me

I am a Licensed & Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT). I earned my Masters in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have received training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1. I am a member of the American Association of Sexuality, Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). I have specialized training in sexual health and I am committed to normalizing conversations around sex, intimacy, and pleasure. My variety of modes of therapy including Culturally Sensitive, Family/ Marital, Humanistic, Strength-Base and Liberation Psychology.

As a first-generation Latina, I grew up with a taboo around sex and mental health. Now as a sex-postive Latina Therapist, I am committed to providing culturally sensitive and individualized services to help you move toward a more fulfilling life. My holistic and collaborative approach to therapy incorporates a variety of techniques, so that each session is tailored to your needs.

What will our first session look like? We will start by talking about what brings you in and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. I'll ask some questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and any challenges you are facing. This is also a chance for you to ask me questions and get a feel for how I work. By the end of the session, we'll talk about next steps and whether working together feels like a good fit. There's no pressure-just a safe space to start where you are and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
